Description
Set of four blue-painted VW bus body panels, said to be late 1960s. Two center panels are a matched pair of rear cargo/barn doors with matching small rounded windows (one clear/tinted, one purple-tinted), a chrome D-shaped handle on one door, and matching hinges. Two outer panels appear to be front fender sections with wheel-arch cutouts, but I can't confirm they match the doors or each other beyond being stored together. Doors have rust on the inside but are still sturdy. Fender panels have significant rust-through and metal loss along the lower edges with exposed primer and heavy corrosion - only good for patch panels, patterns, or parts. All four show flaking paint, surface rust, dents, and faded blue paint. No part numbers, casting marks, or stampings found, so exact model year or sub-variant (Split Window vs Bay Window) can't be verified. Compatibility unverified. Sold as-is for restoration or parts.
Shipping
Large, heavy, awkward-shaped steel panels - local pickup strongly preferred. Freight shipping would require crating and would be expensive; buyer would need to arrange this. Not suitable for standard parcel carriers.
