Description

Cast aluminum adapter plate made by Renegade Hybrids, used for SBC/LS to Porsche engine swaps. 'RENEGADE HYBRIDS' is embossed on a raised boss along with the number 213 696 1344, which is their old phone number, not a part number - no actual part number appears on the piece. Per the company's owner, likely made in the 80s to mate a small block Chevy to a Porsche 915/930 transaxle, but I have no paperwork confirming that application. Flanged, roughly octagonal plate with a large central bore that has a raised internal step/lip. Around the outer lip there are 2 large and 6 small bolt holes; the inner lip has 4 additional small bolt holes. 3/4 inch thick cast aluminum, with visible machining marks and some surface oxidation/discoloration from age and storage. Outer width roughly 15-16 inches at the widest point, inner bore roughly 8-9 inches. No other casting numbers or manufacturer marks visible anywhere on the part. Selling as-is; compatibility with SBC/LS bellhousings and 915/930 transaxles unverified.
